It’s designed to use the eyes as a gateway to reducing Theta waves and increasing Alpha waves in the brain - cutting out the noise and stilling the frontal brain. As I mentioned in my previous post, the eyeballs have muscles attached to the top, bottom, right and left sides. Every time we look at something both externally or internally (an image in the mind’s eye, a thought or a memory), the muscles contract. That is hundreds of thousands of contractions a day! Exhausting.
