About Simon
I love to learn. I have been humbled by the great teachers I have had the good fortune to follow, and through many years of study I have developed my own approach to physical, mental and spiritual well-being. I have spent years helping people to live more healthily, with less pain, and more contentment. I understand how to avoid injury, recover in the best possible way, sleep better, feel more at peace and, to maximise time spent in a state of ‘flow’.
So why am I qualified to comment? Over the years I have honed my skills and explored my obsessions. I have been a professional classical musician, a physical therapist, a writer, and a teacher. I played national level squash in South Africa. I have a black belt in Aikido. My degree is from the Royal College of Music in Classical Guitar. I am certified as a Cranial Sacral Therapist, an Iyengar yoga teacher and a Meditation teacher. I am a qualified Acupuncturist. If you would like to come to me directly for a consultation you can find my website at www.balanceacupuncturelondon.com
In another realm, I have been blogging daily for over 25 years under a pseudonym for a business I used to work for. This means I’ve written more than 7500 posts. What can I say, I love to write!
My wish is empower you with skills and knowledge to free yourself of pain, improve your movement and creative abilities and have fun whilst doing it. I hope you benefit from and enjoy Barefoot Savage, and please share this with your friends, family, lovers, coaches and teachers.
